Sunday Club

It’s been a very different 6 months for us all, but our Sunday Club still stands strong and moving forward.

Back in the New Year we held a board games event for our families which was a massive hit.  The outreach team came and supported us in this with making some amazing milkshakes.

We started a monthly Family Sunday Club which involved the parents joining in - this was a very relaxed time, with coffee, cakes (made by the outreach team).  It was a time of worship, teaching and a discussion time for the adults.  We had special guests of John Spiers and Joe, who got involved with the discussions and came down to experience what we were doing.

Lockdown happened and all stopped suddenly - but our Sunday Club has still continued on a Sunday Morning on zoom - a time for catch up , a few quizzes, singing and dancing - it’s been lovely to see all the children's faces and parents (we are missing all being together a lot).

Like everyone, lockdown has had its fair shares of challenges for our families - juggling children at home 24/7 with no child care, home-schooling (well trying too), working from home or as a keyworker.  Please remember our families in the church in your prayers.

We look forward to all being together again when we are able.

Love from all of us in Sunday Club to all of you xx
