Mearns Kirk Helping Hands Charity
Mearns Kirk Helping Hands is a new charity which has been incorporated in 2016 to promote a wide range of support services in the community. It is run primarily by volunteers working in partnership with a range of partner organisations/agencies.
Existing services include:
-Friendship Club for those suffering from isolation
-Lunch Club for people living with dementia
-Eastwood Bereavement Group for those journeying with grief
These groups have already been very successfully operated over the years by volunteers from Mearns Kirk. It is hoped this new charity status will allow them to develop and grow while also establishing new services to provide a wide range of support for those most vulnerable in our local community.
