Mearns Kirk

We have been blessed in 2024 to have two wonderful ministers to lead us this year.

• Rev Martin Forrest, our Interim Moderator, has responsibility for Mearns Kirk in the absence of a permanent minister, and this includes our work within the  cluster. Martin's wisdom, experience and support are very much appreciated at  what has turned out to be a lengthy and challenging time.
• Rev Eddie Simpson leads us in worship each Sunday. His humour is infectious and his sermons inspirational. Many of our congregation have also benefited from his devotion to pastoral care.

We are so fortunate to have the support of both Martin and Eddie.

We would also like to thank our employees:

• Pam, our administrator, for all she has done throughout this year to keep Mearns Kirk - and us - organised and up to date!
• Eleanor, our organist, for leading us in music each Sunday and for a lovely  thoughtful variety of music.
• David, our caretaker who joined us earlier in the year, for keeping the church and halls so clean and tidy and for his flexibility in helping with DIY when he  has time.
